HS Program
Description
High School – This program is primarily designed for players in high school ages 14-18. Participants will work on all aspects of the game with the goal of refining their skills to make them stronger and more competitive players. Elements of this program will incorporate key aspects of the game such as playing strategies, point construction, and shot selection. These players will also be provided with technical support on proper technique as needed.

Courtney Smith - Courtney is a USPTA certified Professional, and Net Generation certified coach. She has been coaching for the last eighteen years and currently holds accreditations with the National Federation of High School Coaches (NFHS) and the Women’s Tennis Coaching Association. Courtney was the Varsity Girls and the Boys Varsity coach for North Smithfield for five years, and was also the founder and director of her own academy in Providence, Rhode Island. Throughout her years of coaching, she has worked with players who have been highly ranked in their section and the nation. She traveled as a coach to Junior Fed Cup and Nike Junior Masters along with both Clay and Hard courts. Courtney pursued a successful junior tennis career and went on to play Division I Collegiate tennis at Seton Hall University. Courtney’s knowledge and love for the game have enabled her to develop the next generation of talented and skilled tennis players.
